Introduction
We are happy to announce a new opt-in subscription process designed to optimize how we handle platform-wide issues pertaining to our HashiCorp Cloud Platform products. This process delivers a customer facing opt-in solution that highlights ongoing incidents on the Help Center page, allowing you to subscribe automatically. This feature is independent of the Status page subscription.
Description
With this feature, a banner appears on the Help Center page for high-severity issues affecting the Cloud platform, allowing you to subscribe to ongoing incidents. The subscription automatically creates a high Priority Support ticket on your behalf, which is then linked to the ongoing incident, and assigned to an engineer following the normal ticket process.
How-to use this feature
- Read the banner and make sure the incident corresponds to your symptoms. If needed, check the Status page for more information about the incident.
- Select the incident page link to initiate the subscription process.
- Enter your email address, and HCP Organization ID or TFC Instance URL.
- Click Subscribe to automatically create the ticket without further input from you.
- You will then be redirected to a confirmation page letting you know the ticket was created successfully (the Support ticket details will soon appear in your email box).
