When logging into Terraform Cloud the following warning message may be displayed.
Your account has been accessed from an unrecognized device.
IP: [IP address]
Browser: [browser name]
OS: [OS name]
Authentication Method: [Auth method used]
If this information looks familiar, you can ignore this message.
If you have not signed in and believe it may be someone else you can reset your password.
This on screen notification is occurring because the HashiCorp Security team has enabled session auditing and alerting for device tracking feature for all TF Cloud accounts. Now logins for new devices will be flagged, sessions will be viewable in a log under user settings -> sessions. Additionally, account owners will be emailed when a new device is used for account login.
It will take a few days until there is a baseline of devices for each account and we apologize about any inconvenience this may cause.
