Unlink HCP and HCP Terraform Accounts

Expected Outcome

Successfully access HCP Terraform after unlinking accounts. 

Prerequisites (if applicable)

• HCP user
• HCP Terraform user

Use Case

When trying to access HCP Terraform there are cases where organizations may not be visible, SSO sign-in does not work, or login may be stuck in a loop. 

Procedure

To unlink HCP and HCP Terraform Accounts:

1. Open new private / incognito window and go to the HCP Terraform Portal (app.terraform.io)
2. Login into HCP Terraform (the portal will automatically detect if you have a linked account) and prompt you to login into your HCP account
3. Click on your Profile Avatar and select "Account Settings" 
4. Click on "HCP Account Linking" tab and then "Unlink Account"
5. After unlinking the accounts you will be logged out and will be back at the HCP Terraform login portal. After which you will login with your username/email and password.
